Pricing and Quotes

Do nights, weekends or public holidays cost extra?

No. Whatever time you call, the quote works the same way: we look at the job, then agree a fixed price before anything starts. There's no overtime loading hiding in the invoice.

How do your quotes work?

We diagnose the problem first, in person, then give you one quote for the whole job. You approve the quote before any work begins, and it doesn't move afterward.

How can I pay?

Card or bank transfer both work on the day, and you'll know the total before you're asked for it. No surprises, no obligation to go ahead until you're happy.

Do you charge a call-out fee?

There's a $0 Call Out Fee. Getting a licensed plumber to your door and looking at the problem never costs you anything upfront.

Licensing, Insurance and Responsibility

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. We hold NSW Plumbing Licence #275278C and carry insurance on every job. Gas work is handled only by tradespeople licensed for gas specifically.

What is safe to try myself before you arrive?

For a leak, find the isolation valve near the fixture or the water meter at the front and shut it off. For gas, don't try anything. Leave the property and call from outside.

What does the Lifetime Labour Warranty cover?

Our labour, for as long as the fix stands. If it's not right, we come back. No questions. No cost.

Who is responsible for a blocked sewer, me or the water authority?

The water authority's network stops at your boundary. Everything from your boundary in, including the pipework under the house, is the property owner's responsibility to maintain.

How Fast, How Late, How Booked

Are you really open 24/7?

Yes, including weekends and public holidays. You'll speak to a licensed plumber, not an answering machine, whatever the hour. That's the same person who talks you through what to shut off, not a separate booking line.

What happens after I call?

You describe what's happening, we tell you what to shut off if anything, and a van gets sent your way. On-site fast, then a fixed price before we touch a thing.

Do you work weekends and public holidays?

We do, every week of the year. A burst pipe doesn't check the calendar, so neither do we.

How fast can you get here?

We aim to be on-site fast and won't invent a time we can't stand behind. Traffic on the Pacific Highway and the time of day both play a part, but the crew nearest Artarmon gets the call first.

The Artarmon Side of Things

Do tree roots really block drains around Artarmon?

Often, yes. The heritage streets around the conservation area carry mature trees over old clay sewer lines, and roots find their way into aged joints looking for moisture.

Which suburbs do you service?

Artarmon plus Chatswood, St Leonards, Naremburn, Lane Cove and Willoughby. If you're near any of these and unsure, just call and ask. We'd rather confirm on the phone than have you guess.

Why do Artarmon's older homes keep us busy?

A lot of the double-brick interwar housing here still runs its original storage hot water unit. Those systems tend to fail without much warning once they're decades old.

How local are you to Artarmon, really?

Artarmon is our regular run, not an occasional detour. We're back on these streets often enough to know the difference between a job near the station and one further out.
